Quick Summary
The Girl He Needs is an enemies-to-lovers romance filled with laughter, love, and a dash of chaos set in sunny Daytona Beach.
Josie’s fiery confidence and sharp wit makes her an acquired taste. She’s fearless, loyal, and brutally honest.
After her car catches fire, fate throws her into Brinn McRae’s life, a straight-laced flight school owner who’s so not her type. But as they work together in close quarters, sparks fly in more ways than one.
First Impressions
I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again enemies to lovers has always been my kryptonite. There’s just something about the chaotic banter, the tension so thick you could cut it with a butter knife…..LITERALLY. And that moment when hate morphs into oh no, I think I’m in love.
It’s deliciously entertaining and I live for it.
In The Girl He Needs, Miss Kristi delivered it to me like roast on a silver platter served with a glass of champagne.
Between Josie’s razor-sharp wit and Brinn’s straight-laced demeanor, I was hooked. It was like watching a rom-com with the volume cranked up while you yell at the television because the main characters are so stupidly oblivious of their feelings for each other. This is how I felt reading the first 3 chapters, it was infuriating but worth it.
What I Loved
Where to begin? Sure, the relationship between Josie and Brinn is swoon-worthy, but let’s talk about the real star here, Josie’s personality.
She’s not just a character. Josie’s boldness is unmatched. She’s the type to call you out on your nonsense but still have your back, no questions asked.
Her confidence? Infectious. Her humor? Sharp enough to slice through any awkward moment. She’s a walking masterclass in owning who you are, and honestly, I’m here for it.
What Could Have Been Better
It’s hard to pinpoint what could have been better because this book did so much right. But if I had to choose, I’d say it’s that I wanted more of Brinn’s slow-burn unrav, and more of their electric chemistry that had me grinning like an idiot.
This story had all the sparks and tension I adore in an enemies-to-lovers romance, but it left me greedy for extra chapters, bonus scenes, or maybe even a sequel. If craving more is the only “flaw,” then I’d say that’s a win.

Are you guys really gonna make me say it again? Alright fine. Seriously, I cannot believe you haven’t checked out Hidden Triquetra Prophecy (Gods Among US), For Now and Forever or Absent Feelings. I mean, I even left a link to the review and everything so don’t even try to say you don’t know if its good or not.
You have no excuses but I’ll let it slide just this once because its you guys so don’t make me come back here.
