Quick Summary
In the book Not His Dragon, Angie Weldon is fierce and sharp in every sense of the word. As a backscratcher to the wild and untamed, she’s no stranger to unusual encounters. But when Eoin Grant, a brazen magnetic shifter, barges into her life, claiming she’s a dragon like him, Angie finds herself in uncharted territory.
Eoin has waited decades to meet another of his kind, and after one encounter with Angie, he is convinced she’s the one for him. His undeniable attraction to her sets off sparks, and not just between them, Angie gets thrown into the middle with every fire-breather in town.
First Impressions
From the very start, the story grabbed my attention. The pacing felt natural, allowing the story to unfold at a nice, easy pace. The characters’ personalities were unique to each. It was obvious to me that the author had put a lot of time and work into making them just right.

What I Loved
I absolutely love the dynamic between Angie and Eoin. It was entertaining to see Angie trying her hardest to go about her life while Eoin unapologetically inserts himself into it. Their chemistry was electric; I couldn’t get enough of them.
What Could Have Been Better
I don’t have any criticisms about this book. The characters were engaging, the pacing was great, and the plot held my attention right up to the very last page. This is a book I would read again.
Favorite Character
Eoin was so—dare I say—smitten with Angie that it lept off the page. His relentless pursuit of her, mixed with his charm, made him irresistibly lovable. Watching him fall harder for Angie as the book went on was the cherry on top. His genuine feelings for her added an endearing layer to his character.

Memorable Quote
“The last time it wasn’t my fault the business had faulty wiring.” I laughed at this like yeah, sure hun, it was definitely because of the building wiring.
