First Impressions
At first, I was very skeptical about reading this book, mainly because I don’t usually get into stories like this. But the first couple of chapters completely took me off guard and left a lasting impression. The world-building and Ashla’s will to go against everything Exinious stands for were something to look out for.

What Could Have Been Better
It’s an understatement to say A God To Wed Her was everything I thought it wouldn’t be. I was so convinced I’d find something that didn’t sit right. But Miss Yamila Abraham, you proved me wrong. Every twist, every moment, feelings, and thoughts were all perfectly executed. There is absolutely nothing I would change about this book.
Favorite Character
Honestly, I don’t think I had a favorite character. If anything stood out, it was the dynamic between Ashla and Exinious. The tension, conflict, and push-and-pull of their interactions were absolutely captivating. It’s the kind of connection that keeps you hooked, wondering what will happen next. Is Ashla going to act out? How will Exinious respond to it? The questions keep coming!
