First Impressions

It took me a while to get into the story since it’s not the type of book I usually read. However, as I got further into it, I found myself enjoying it more than I expected. The personalities of the characters kept me hooked from the very start.

What I Loved

I loved how the emotions of each character were vividly portrayed. Their struggles, joy, and vulnerability all felt authentic. The Author did a wonderful job bringing them to life, making every moment feel real and impactful. Whether it was tension, laughter, or heartache, the emotions were so well portrayed that I could easily feel them through the pages. This little detail made the reading ten times better.

What Could Have Been Better

I wouldn’t change anything about this book. It was a great read.

Favorite Character

I loved Remy. She is a go-getter. She knew exactly what she wanted and refused to back down without putting up a fight. Her determination made her stand out, adding an exciting beat to the story. She’s kept things interesting throughout.

Memorable Quote

“Daddy had always told her alcohol brought out the deepest truths of a person, the good and the bad.” Isn’t that the truth? This line perfectly captures how raw, unfiltered emotions can be when one’s guard is down.

Who Should Read This

For my guys and gals who love my “brother’s best friend” trope, forbidden attraction, and layered relationships, this will be right up your alley.

Final Thoughts

This book was an unexpected emotional journey, and I loved every part of it. From the well-written characters to the heartfelt moments, it kept me invested from beginning to end. The engaging storyline made it a memorable read, and I highly recommend it.
