First Impression
Captivating is the only word to describe Donna Grant’s Dragon Forged. The story begins with an intriguing twist that drew me in.
By chapter 10, I knew that Donna Grant had a winner on her hand. I was committed and could not put it down.

What I Loved About Dragon Forged
I love that while Dragon Forged is part of a series, it is a story that stands on its own. More than this, the story is infinitely different from the others in the series that I have read, which makes it stand out.
I love the way the story started with a twist that immediately drew me in and made me want to find out what happens next. I also like the fact that Donna Grant did not stop there but the surprises kept coming.
What Could Have Been Better
Nothing! Donna Grant did such a great job that I cannot help but give this five stars.
Favorite Character
Hector, Theo, and Emilia are my favorite characters.
I love Hector’s gentleness and protective instincts in spite of the fact that he is a king, strong with the ability to destroy.
While a seer, Emilia reflects many of us who dread the thought of war and the resulting casualties. Her reactions and efforts to protect those whom she loves are relatable.
Teo is an intuitive young boy who can see much more than others. He is wise beyond his years, intuitive and knows when to stay out of sight.
