Quick Summary

In Love, Rebooted, we meet Olivia who is at a comfortable place in life. She works for a company that she loves and might be in line for a promotion.

Then Liv’s firm merges with a repulsive rival and everything changes. Suddenly she finds herself working with the man she once had a crush on but who she thought had betrayed her.

Worst part is they are competing for the same post.

Finn is pleasantly surprised when he found out that Liv works for the firm they are merging with. He hopes that this will give them a chance to reconnect and maybe a chance for something more.

Unfortunately faiths seem to be conspiring against them. To remain with the new firm, Liv and Finn must compete for the same post. Finn already knows that the job is his but he is worried about what it will cost him.

First Impression

I fell in love with this book ever so quickly. Katy Summers delves into the interaction between Finn and Liv in college, their awkwardness and uncertainty. As they fall in love with each other, their social awkwardness makes it difficult for them to give voice to their feelings.

Their uncertainty and misunderstanding made them so adorable.

Then inevitably things go wrong. Fast forward, years has passed but neighter has grown in confidence when confronted by their nemesis.

All this draws me in as I hang on for what is undoubtedly a sweet romanctic ride where our main characters ever so mature reverts to teenage uncertainty and awkwardness in the presence of each other.

What I Love About Love Rebooted

It is the contradiction in the main characters that appeal to me. They are forces to be reckoned with in the workplace but their social awkwardness makes their private interactions a roller coaster ride of uncertainty and mistakes.

I love these two characters because they are so relatable and all too human.

What Could Have Been Better

I wouldn’t change one think. This book is the equivalent of perfection.

Favorite Characters

Olly is undoubtedly my favourite character. I love her strength of character her caring nature inspite of her the issues that makes her different.

I also love the way she stands up for herself and pushes Finn to do the same. She is undoubtedly an outstanding leader.

Who Should Read This

Hopeless romantics should read this. It is rusted in human nature. The main characters are overcommers and for once the male character is a bit of a nerd. Most of use would find the main characters relatable.

Final Thoughts

If you are an hopeless romantic who love strong characters with imperfections, you will undoubtedly love Love, Rebooted. I highly recommend this book as a must read. It was a page turner for me.
