First Impressions

The cover hooked me and this is why I picked up this book. I’m a sucker for hockey romances. From the first page, I could already tell this book was going to be great. By the end of the first few paragraphs, I was sure this would have my five-star vote.

What I loved

I loved Sophie, Abbie, and Gwen’s relationship. Their friendship is so platonic and soulmate-coded, and it warms my heart to see a story about girls just enjoying each other’s company instead of gossiping behind each other’s backs and then putting on a mask when they’re facing each other.

What could have been better

The only thing I found wrong with it was that it wasn’t longer. It was so good that the minute I turned the last page, I started wishing for more chapters.

Favorite characters

I favored Abbie and Gwen. They were so supportive of Sophie. Their jokes also brought life to the book.

Favorite quote

“It’s you and me, soph. We’ll do it together, I promise.” This warmed my heart.
