Quick Summary
In Wedding Hells, Mel Parker’s little sister is getting married, but she would rather be anywhere else. Her relatives will definitely criticize her for the fact that her younger sister is getting married before her.
To make things worse, her dress is too tight, making it uncomfortable to even move, and her best friend Will wasn’t even invited. There is no way it can get worse, right?

First Impressions
Wedding Hells—that name alone was enough to make me pick up this book. I expected something interesting and fun, and I was not disappointed.
From the minute I got to the first page, I was caught up in the characters, the plot, the vibe, everything. It wasn’t lacking in any way. The way the author portrayed her sister made even me dislike her, and don’t get me started on the father.
What I Loved
I loved everything. The storyline wasn’t forced, and the characters, especially Mel, were so well written that they impacted me from the very first page. She wasn’t the normal petite main character; she was real in every aspect. I’m sure most girls could relate to her obsession.
What Could Have Been Better
The author did a wonderful job. There is nothing about this book that needs improvement.
Favorite Character
Mel was my favorite character. Even when she had a dress emergency, and her family made unnecessary comments, her snarky behavior did not waver once. It gave her girl boss vibes, and I enjoyed it thoroughly.
Memorable Quote
“They could have had the common decency to elope instead of making us spend the day at some Staley home where we fit in like dandelions at a Chelsea flower shop.” Now, this line had me on the floor laughing.
Who Should Read This
People who like family drama a little bit of romance and some light comedy should definitely check this out.
Final Thoughts
This book kept me on my toes. The climax was unexpected, and I was shocked for a good five minutes after reading the last words. It’s a must-read, guys.
