Rebecca was the unattractive high school geek who suffered through being teased mercilessly by the popular guy and his multitude of friends.
Rebecca has grown and changed. She has evolved into a beautiful, strong woman and is successful in her own right.
When Rebecca decided to bravely return to the place of hurt for her high school reunion she comes face to face with her tormentor.
Mr. Popular, Mitch still looks good and is quite successful. He also remembers all the pain he caused her.
Mitch is mature, he is sorry for his actions, he is finally able to see beyond the brain to the heart of Rebecca.

The main characters are interesting and their many differences, the unusualness of the pairing, make them that much more appealing.
There is no true antagonist in this story, rather the plot is built around how they bridge the gap and overcome their differences and obstacles.
What I Liked
The identity of these characters, their history, and their place on the High School hierarchy is what makes this story different.
The story was for the most part sweet and quite engaging. I like the fact that this adult romance comes from an unlikely, unexpected pairing.
What I Didn’t Like
A little more attention could have been placed on the visualization of the setting.
This book needs the attention of a good editor. A little more attention to developing the setting would also go a long way.
Stamp of Approval
While this does not make my list of the most interesting books to read I thoroughly enjoyed it.
With some editing, I would definitely buy it.
