Rebecca and the Rancher by Isabella Kole is an adult romance novel that I unfortunately found disappointing.
Rebecca’s life was shattered by the sudden, untimely death of her husband and the life changing information she received about his business in the days that followed.
Now Rebecca who has not worked for many years must give up a lifestyle she had become to and rejoin the workforce.
As Rebecca struggles to make the right decisions in order to move forward, she is puzzled to know which indeed are the right ones and how they are likely to impact her children’s lives.
I found this book to be pretty mundane in nature.

What I Liked
I liked the way Rebecca’s family and friends rallied during her plight. This is a positive reflection on family that is often lacking in today’s world.
What I Didn’t Like
I didn’t like the fact that the story didn’t stand out from the crowd. It was a good story but nothing really stood out for me.
I wish the author had expounded on the threat in this story. For a moment there was something engaging there then she dropped the ball and actually gave up on the most interesting part of the story.
Point to Note
I received a free copy of this book from the author in exchange for a review.
Stamp Of Approval
If you are in the market for a soothing romance that in a lot of ways compares to those of the Old Mills and Boon this one will be perfect for you.
