Author: Crystal_Rain
Genre: Teen fiction
Synopsis:
Chole’s friends dared her to send a random text to a stranger. That stranger however turned out to be the last person she could have ever imagined.
An unusual friendship begins with a simple text. With the animosity thrown in friendship had some bite to it. None the less, two people who were unlikely to meet are brought together by a simple text message. This in turn grows into an unusual relationship with many secrets and half-truths being told.
One of the interesting things about this book is the fact that much of the story is told through text messages. The jargons used are rather amusing at times and may prevent this book from appealing to the older generation.
There is a bit of intrigue thrown in and some amateurish detective work.
The idea surrounding this secret the main character is supposed to have and the way he pulls it off is a tad unbelievable, however.
The Characters:
Chloe a bright ray of sunshine but she changes everything. She is known as Chloe_awesome_scott
Noah is a trouble maker. He’s as he says The_ original _prince_charming and a cocky person.
Caleb is a big teddy bear also Chloe’s best friend. His screen name is Cereal _killer.
Sophia is a styling young fiery teenager and will do anything for her best friend. She is known as I_pooped)
Plot:
The plot is based on how texts can turn into something more.
What I like:
I like how the characters were made to mark the life of teenagers and how the suspense in the first chapter was amazing the question I wanna ask is will there be a sequel.
What I don’t like:
A lot of this book reads like a fairy tale. It’s sweet but some logic is lacking.
Stamp of approval:
I like the fact that all the characters are free. I also like the animosity displayed between the main characters in the first chapters.
She certainly didn’t make things easy for him. The hints of a certain secret certainly add some spice to this book.
